| BEFORE: Construction was being completed on these custom living room bookcases and the client wanted to know how to finish them and how to fill them. The client also wanted to display some unique family pieces in the cases. |
AFTER: In order to feature the family memorabilia pieces, we chose to put small spotlights in the top of each bookcase and place the pieces there. The cases were painted in a lovely semi-gloss finish, and the books were arranged on the remaining open shelves. The bookcases and mantel became a beautiful focal point making the whole room feel larger by drawing the eye up to the interesting family pieces. | |||||
